Anyone is meant to have the power to obtain the records that they need that is why these records are referred to as public records. It just means that any person from any walks of life has the opportunity to obtain the public records that he or she needs. Public records are used by people when they are performing free background check investigations. These records are also used in genealogical purposes, in certain personal verification purposes, and in other kinds of investigations. Since we know that these public records are for public view, anyone can actually request for these records in designated places without even asking permission from the person who is named on the records and they are not even required by the government to have permits before obtaining those records.
