Partnership Law - The Death of the Two Person Business Venture

One opinion that I currently hold is that two person partnerships with 50-50 ownership are generally doomed from the inception. Greed and fear are the culprits that break these partnerships and all of the goodwill that surrounded their founding. The typical scenario involves two motivated risk takers that either have specialized talent or a good idea that can generate business and profits. They then decide to form a partnership, and to be fair, allocate ownership 50-50. The partnership forms, thrives, and money begins to flow. All is well in the beginning as the partners are excited by their success. However, if business and making money were easy, then the world would be full of wealth, prosperity, and two person partnerships. It is not.
